Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ set to knock Adele off albums chart peak

New album on course to shift 250,000 copies in its first week

Lady Gaga looks set to end Adele‘s run at the top of the UK albums chart this Sunday (May 29) with her second album, ‘Born This Way’.

The singer’s new LP is currently outselling the rest of the UK Top 30 put together and looks likely to shift over 250,000 copies in its first week on sale, putting it comfortably at Number One. Gaga‘s debut album, ‘The Fame’ is also looking likely to be back in Top 10 and is currently at Number Six.

The Prodigy are also on course for a high new entry, with their new live CD ‘World’s On Fire’ presently at Number Three in the midweek countdown.

Meanwhile in the singles chart, Cuban-American rapper Pitbull is set to remain at Number One with ‘Give Me Everything’, his collaboration with Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer. There is only one new entry in the Top 10, with The Saturdays‘ comeback single ‘Notorious’ at the midweek Number Five.
