Singer performed ahead of the showdown between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos
Lady Gaga sang the US national anthem at the NFL Super Bowl on Sunday (February 7) ahead of the showdown between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.
This year sees Gaga set to become the first artist ever to play the Oscars, Grammys and Super Bowl all in a year.
Following Gaga’s Super Bowl appearance, she will perform a tribute to David Bowie at the Grammy Awards on February 15, followed by an Oscars performance on February 28.

Gaga is expected to release a new studio album in 2016 and has been in the studio with producers including RedOne and Mark Ronson in the past twelve months as she works on tracks for the record. A release date is as yet unknown.
Gaga’s last album ‘Artpop’ was released in 2013.
