Singer plays a four-song acoustic set

Lady Gaga performed an intimate London show at private members’ club Annabel’s last night (May 12).

The singer, whose second album ‘Born This Way’ is released on May 23, played an acoustic set in front of an audience of around 150 which included Florence Welch, The Black Eyed PeasWill.i.am, actress Holly Valance, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and Kate Moss.

The set included acoustic renditions of three tracks from ‘Born This Way’, with Gaga performing the album’s title track, ‘You And I’ and one other new song as well as ‘Speechless’ from ‘The Fame Monster’.

Stephen Fry also attended the gig, tweeting from Twitter.com/stephenfry: “Fabulous surprise. Lady Gaga set at Annabel’s. She was just astounding. What a voice. An acoustic set of the highest imaginable quality.”

Lady Gaga headlines BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Carlisle on Sunday night (May 15). Foo Fighters headline the first night of the event on Saturday.
