Lady Gaga to duet with Elton John

Singer reveals she's collaborating with the Rocket Man on new album

Lady Gaga has revealed that she is planning on recording another duet with Elton John.

The ‘Born This Way’ singer told TV chat show host Alan Carr that she had already started work on her new album – and said that John had agreed to collaborate with her. The pair had previously recorded the track ‘Hello Hello’, for the Disney film ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’, and teamed up for a live performance at last year’s Grammy Awards.

During her appearance on Chatty Man, Gaga – who is also Godmother to John’s son Zachary – said:

My next duet, I believe, will be with Elton. I’m already working on my next album, and I played him a song that I wrote and he really loved it. I don’t want to give anything away!

Lady Gaga‘s latest album, ‘Born This Way’, was released in May of this year. Earlier today, it was reported that she had made a pilgrimage to Amy Winehouse’s house so she could pay her respects to the late singer.

Previously, she was rumoured to want to play the late singer in a Hollywood biopic of her life, and was apparently rendered speechless for 48 hours after hearing the news of her death.

Last year, Elton John insisted that he had reached a stage in his career where he could no longer write pop songs, claiming that he wasn’t capable of competing with the likes of Gaga and JLS.
