Lady Gaga blasts former producer and boyfriend over $30m lawsuit

Singer claims she was 'tricked into signing a deal'

Lady Gaga has blasted her former producer and boyfriend after he filed a $30 million lawsuit against her.

As previously reported, Rob Fusari is suing Gaga, claiming she owes him money after he co-wrote some of her songs, came up with her stage name and helped her get a record deal.

Now, the New York Daily News reports that Lady Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta, is issuing a lawsuit of her own against Fusari, saying she was tricked into signing a deal with her ex-collaborator.

In her countersuit the singer is seeking to throw out Fusari‘s lawsuit and claim damages from him, accusing the producer of taking advantage of an “inexperienced performing artist”, by getting her to sign a deal that was “predatory and financially abusive”.

Meanwhile, Lady GaGa claimed a UK chart double last night (March 21) – topping both the singles and albums chart.
