Called Heartbeats, the jewel-like, tangle-free headphones are a celebration of “the art and lifestyle of music”, according to Lady Gaga.
“In the deepest hour of the night, I confess to myself three things; I would die if I was forbidden to write, forbidden to love, or forbidden to fashion,” Gaga said in a statement about the product. “Heartbeats embody the trinity of my human being, with one additional vow: that sound matters. Wear Heartbeats, love each other, and celebrate the art and lifestyle of music.”
The headphones have been launched in collaboration with Dre‘s Beats Electronics company. As well as Gaga, the rapper worked alongside Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records, and electronics company Monster to create the headphones.
There are currently three separate designs of Lady Gaga‘s Heartbeats, including a metal body with rose red jewel-shaped earpiece, metal body with all chrome jewel-shaped earpiece and black-on-black body and jewel-shaped earpiece design. Each of the three pairs also feature a tangle-free cable.
The singer is set to launch her headphones with an appearence at the HMV store in Oxford Street, London tomorrow 2pm (BST).
