It'll debut during the season premiere of Ryan Murphy's 'Scream Queens'

Lady Gaga has announced that her ‘Perfect Illusion’ video will debut early next week during the season premiere of US comedy-horror series Scream Queens.

The singer tweeted a teaser for the video earlier today (September 16) with the caption: “The #PERFECTILLUSION music video premieres Tues, Sept 20 during the premiere of @ScreamQueens on @FOXTV at 9pm ET!”

The premiere continues Gaga’s close ties with American Horror Story co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, who also co-created Scream Queens.

Meanwhile, Gaga has also unveiled the cover art for her new album ‘Joanne’. The singer’s follow-up to 2013’s ‘ARTPOP’ will arrive on October 21 and is named after her late aunt.

The singer released lead single ‘Perfect Illusion’ last week (September 9). It was co-written and co-produced by Gaga with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker as well as Mark Ronson and BloodPop, who produced Justin Bieber’s single ‘Sorry’.

The album also features collaborations with Beck, Father John Misty and Florence And The Machine singer Florence Welch, and songwriter Hillary Lindsey.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 yesterday (September 15), the singer said that the record is dedicated to her aunt who died aged 19 of lupus in 1974. Gaga told Lowe that she was still putting the finishing touches to her new album and that its tracklist may change.
