The 'A Star Is Born' actor thanked her "fiancé" and her "loved ones" during a speech in LA yesterday
Lady Gaga has confirmed her engagement to Christian Carino.
The pop star and A Star Is Born actor was attending ELLE‘s 25th ‘Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration’ when she shared the news. Speaking onstage at the LA event yesterday (October 15), Gaga thanked “my fiancé Christian” during her speech.
The ‘Poker Face’ artist also referenced “all the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day”.
Gaga and her talent agent fiancé are said to have been together since the beginning of last year. Rumours of the engagement have been circulating since late 2017. The singer was previously engaged to her long-term boyfriend Taylor Kinney.
Entertainment Tonight reports that the artist wanted her engagement to Carino to be “low-key”. “Gaga seems very happy to be in a more low-key relationship than with Taylor,” a source told the publication. “She’s on top of the world and Christian is part of that. They kept the engagement private so it wasn’t the media storm it was with Taylor.”
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is enjoying huge success following the release of A Star Is Born.
Gaga stars alongside Bradley Cooper in the critically-acclaimed remake. The film, which has seen many fans demand Oscar nominations for the project, took $42 million (£32.1 million) at the box office on its opening weekend.
