The acts will appear under a number of different banners, starting on September 19 when Foetus and Coil (the band who coined the phrase ‘industrial music’) kick things off. It will mark only Coil’s third show in 10 years following their appearance at Julian Cope’s Cornucopea in April and more recently at the Sonar Festival in Barcelona.
The following night Magma, an act compared to Sun Ra and his Arkestra, play their 30th anniversary show.
On September 22 Dick Dale, Terry Edwards and The Fall, John Peel’s longtime favourite band, will play the second last ever Peel Session Live while September 23 sees Lambchop play a rare live show featuring their entire 13-piece band, plus additional brass and string sections.
Pere Ubu, a band namechecked by acts like Pixies and Henry Rollins, play their 25th anniversary show on September 27 and the final ever Peel Session Live features The Delgados plus guests on October 8.
The Outro series is rounded off by veteran Krautrockers Faust who will add a new live soundtrack to a screening of silent classic film Nosferatu.
