MORCHEEBA and LAMBCHOP are confirmed to co-headline a new festival in LEICESTER.

The Summer Sundae Festival takes at the town’s De Montfort Hall on July 8. It is the first in an annual event which hopes to attract in the region of 5000 fans.

The festival will take place over two stages, one indoors and one outside.


It is anticipated that fans will be able to see both headline acts, as Morcheeba take the outdoor stage following Lambchop‘s show in the recently refurbished indoor hall stage.

Other confirmed acts include Lowgold and Lincoln, with a total of 12 bands to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
