Lana Del Rey: ‘I still can’t get used to fame’

Singer admits she is bowled over every time fans pay attention to her

Lana Del Rey has admitted that she can still can’t get used to being famous.

The singer, whose debut single ‘Video Games’ shot her to stardom with millions of views on YouTube, said she is bowled over every time fans pay attention to her.

She told V magazine:

I turn up in Glasgow or Manchester or Amsterdam and there are good people waving at me from the crowd. That’s amazing.

The singer added: “There are people outside the venue at sound check that want to chat and take a photo. Someone showed me their ticket stub and asked me to sign it. You know how much it costs to come and see a show? These people really wanted to see me.”

Lana Del Rey also recently caught the attention of the Prime Minister David Cameron.

Her forthcoming debut album ‘Born To Die’ is set to be released on January 30.

The tracklisting for her first record is as follows:

‘Born To Die’
‘Off To The Races’
‘Blue Jeans
‘Video Games’
‘Diet Mountain Dew’
‘National Anthem’
‘Dark Paradise’
‘Million Dollar Man’
‘Summertime Sadness’
‘This Is What Makes Us Girls’
