Del Rey, who releases her debut LP on January 30, has made official snippets of her tracks ‘National Anthem’ and ‘This Is What Made Us Girls’ available to listen to online. The album’s title-track will also be released as a single on January 22.

The ‘Video Games’ star also told MTV that she had felt “honoured” to perform on the US television show Saturday Night Live. Del Rey had received criticism from the likes of Juliette Lewis after her appearance on the programme but insisted she was unaffected by negative feedback, stating:

If I have other things to think about, or I’m trying to get things done for somebody else, and I’m not in my own way, then… I’m like, ‘This doesn’t really matter’. Sometimes it seems more important to me than other times, I don’t know.

She went on to add: “Things are cool. They always will be, whether the music goes good or not. Like, I consider being able to sing a luxury, it doesn’t run my life, is not my main focus. I love it, I feel grateful. I’m honoured to be on SNL. I’m happy to be here, but if I didn’t have it, I’d be happy too.”

Last week (January 11), Lana Del Rey admitted that she was still finding it difficult to adjust to being famous. She also recently attracted a notable fan in the form of Prime Minister David Cameron.

The tracklisting of ‘Born To Die’ is as follows:

‘Born To Die’
‘Off To The Races’
‘Blue Jeans
‘Video Games’
‘Diet Mountain Dew’
‘National Anthem’
‘Dark Paradise’
‘Radio’
