Lana Del Rey has unveiled the title of her forthcoming debut album.

The singer recently revealed that she hired a tiger for the video for ‘Born To Die’.

She said:

Tigers don’t come cheap. It’s a controversial video. You’ll have to wait to see it but I got a generous budget. I wasn’t allowed to be alone with the tiger at any time, for obvious reasons. It was a special experience.

The album has a tentative release date for January 23 next year in the UK, according to Amazon.

Earlier this month, NME witnessed Lana Del Rey‘s first UK gig at Manchester‘s Ruby Lounge. To find out what we made of the show, visit NME.COM/blogs.
