Lana Del Rey, Bjork and Florence + The Machine to play Governors Ball festival in New York

Noel Gallagher, The Black Keys and Drake are also on the bill for Big Apple bash

Lana Del Rey, Bjork and Florence And The Machine will all play this year’s Governors Ball festival in New York.

As Rolling Stone reports, the event – which is now in its fifth year and will take place at New York’s Randall’s Island from June 5 to June 7 – will be headlined by Del Rey, Bjork, Drake and Deadmau5. It was revealed earlier this week that Del Rey has already been working on a follow-up to her last album ‘Ultraviolence’, with the singer claiming that she has already written nine songs for the LP, which will be called ‘Honeymoon’.

Bjork, meanwhile, has also been crafting a new album and has been working on material with British producer The Haxan Cloak.

Other names confirmed for the bill include Florence + The Machine and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, both of whom are expected to also release new material this year, as well as Tame Impala, St Vincent, Ryan Adams, Future Islands, Charli XCX and Royal Blood.
