Lana Del Rey has been announced as the latest headliner for Open’er Festival 2019, joining the likes of Travis Scott, The Strokes and The Smashing Pumpkins.
The celebrated Polish festival returns to Gdynia once more from Wednesday July 3 to Saturday July 6, and it’s already boasting one of the strongest line-ups of the summer.
Del Rey will close four days of music on Poland’s Baltic Coast with a headline performance on Saturday July 6. She’ll be joined on the same day by the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Anna Calvi and Jungle.
It comes as the singer prepares to release her latest album ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’, which is expected to arrive later this year.
Other acts across the four days include the likes of Idles, Jorja Smith, Kamasi Washington, Rosalia, J Balvin and Flatbush Zombies. Fans can check out the exact dates of their sets below and buy tickets here.
Fans can also expect sets from the likes of Vampire Weekend, The 1975 and Lil Uzi Vert for 2019.
Last year, NME headed to Open’er to witness stunning sets from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode and Gorillaz.
“An art piece made of conjoined white-painted and graffiti smothered buses sits in the centre of the arena like an abandoned settler base at the Apollo basin. An on-site museum displays film and artefacts from distant Earth history. Clubs rage in protective bunkers and tunnels and a gigantic, jagged neon totem pole rises from the centre of the festival like a 23rd Century landing marker.”
