Lana Del Rey has been interviewed by a slew of famous fans, include Grimes, Courtney Love, and Kim Kardashian West.
The star, who released her latest album ‘Lust For Life‘ last year, faced questions about a range of topics, including style, her culinary skills, and music.
Answering the queries for L’Officiel, Del Rey told Kardashian West that Joan Baez, Lauren Bacall, and Janice Joplin were her beauty influences while growing up, before revealing that she can’t cook. The singer made a playlist of her favourite songs for Love, including Hole‘s ‘Celebrity Skin’, ‘Bad And Boujee’ by Migos, and The Eagles‘ ‘Hotel California’.
Stevie Nicks asked Del Rey if they would be “spending the summer in our fantastic apartments in the Hollywood sign”, referring to the video for ‘Lust For Life’, to which she responded: “Yes don’t worry I’ve already began planning the summer but I was thinking we could spend half our time on that boat we were talking (maybe shoot a video for ‘Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems’).”
She also told Grimes she was “excited but also nervous about” the development of drones, and wouldn’t go to Mars. “Hell to the no!” she said on the latter topic. “Are you kidding? Loco. Who could ever leave the Earth behind?”
Del Rey reportedly broke down in tears last night (February 6) at her first concert since a man was arrested for an alleged kidnap plot against the singer.
Michael Hunt, 43, was reportedly intercepted outside the singer’s Amway Center show in Orlando on Friday night (February 2), after the police received a tip about a potential kidnapping.
