Antonoff has previously worked with St. Vincent, Taylor Swift and Lorde
Antonoff has been a part of some of the biggest albums in recent years, after working with St. Vincent on ‘Masseduction,’ Taylor Swift on ‘1989’ and her recent LP ‘Reputation’ and Lorde on last year’s ‘Melodrama’.
Lana Del Rey posted the photo to her Twitter account last night (August 6), which sees them both dressed in cream suits. She simply captioned it ‘Hi!’. You can see it below.
Last week (August 3), Miles Kane opened up about working with Lana Del Rey on his latest album, ‘Coup De Grace.’
The chorus of the first single – ‘Loaded’ – from Kane’s latest album was written by Del Rey and Kane explained how the two share a love of 60’s inspired culture and sounds. “She loves similar things,” Kane said of their shared interests.
“She’s an incredible writer,” Kane added. “Does things straight off the bat. I couldn’t really speak highly enough of her and her writing.”
Kane revealed that the two met by chance at a Jamie T gig a year before they started to write songs together for the album.
“We’d only met a couple of times, a year before [the writing session]. The day before she came over to write, I bumped into her at Jamie’s gig. But I didn’t really know her. Before we started to write together, we weren’t, you know, going for cappuccinos,” Kane joked.
Jamie T also collaborated with Kane on the album, with Kane saying he “brought lots to the table”.
“We wrote a lot of tunes. Definitely he helped me lyrically. I tend to fall in the trap of using less words and spacing out the sentences – trying to be coronary, I guess.”
