Laura Marling adds eight more dates to run of ‘immersive’ London shows

She will now play sixteen Secret Cinema events in a mystery east London venue

Laura Marling has added a further eight dates to her run of ‘immersive’ live shows which are set to take place in London next month.

The singer-songwriter has joined forces with Secret Cinema – who stage themed ‘live’ movie nights – to “bring to life” her forthcoming new album, ‘Once I Was An Eagle’, which is set for release on May 27. The first batch of shows from June 13-21 sold out in record time, so she will now be playing eight more events in a secret east London location from June 22-23, 25-30. Tickets for the new dates are on sale now.

A press release for the event says: “Featuring a live performance by Laura, audiences will travel through a secret world of the album that will be layered across the building, breathing life into lyrics, where they are invited to become a part of the performance.” For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page. Artists and musicians are being invited to help ‘build the world’ by contacting lauramarling@secretcinema.org.
