The singer/songwriter will set out on the road in March
Laura Marling has further extended her forthcoming UK tour, adding a second London live date to her March itinerary.
The Berkshire-born singer/songwriter will release her sixth studio album, ‘Semper Femina’, on March 10, via her own ‘More Alarming Records’ label.
The new live date will take place at London’s Roundhouse on March 21, which will end her latest UK tour. Marling is already booked to play the same venue in the capital four days earlier (March 17), but demand for tickets has prompted the adding of a second date.

Marling unveiled her new album last week, revealing that it intends to “address questions of how society views sexuality and gender but without seeking to provide definitive answers.”
“I started out writing ‘Semper Femina’ as if a man was writing about a woman, and then I thought; ‘it’s not a man, it’s me’,” she said of the record. “I don’t need to pretend it’s a man to justify the intimacy, or the way I’m looking and feeling about women. It’s me looking specifically at women and feeling great empathy towards them, and by proxy, towards myself.”
Marling also shared the self-directed new video for ‘Semper Femina”s lead single ‘Soothing’. Said to be inspired by vivid dreams she experienced while making the new record in LA in 2015, you can watch the video here.
