LAURYN HILL has reached a settlement with four musicians suing her over a claim that she wrote them out of the credits on debut solo album ‘THE MISEDUCATION OF LAURYN HILL’.
The four – Vada Nobles, Rasheem Pugh, Tejumold and Johari Newton, who work as New Ark, alleged they were promised credit and royalties on 13 of the album’s 14 tracks. Hill’s legal team claimed they had been trying to cash in on the success of the album.
Details of the settlement, which brought two years of legal wrangling to a close, have been withheld.
