Led Zeppelin reunion gig ‘most lucrative gig of 2007’

Enormous resale ticket prices revealed…

Led Zeppelin’s reunion concert at London’s O2 Arena last December was the most lucrative gig of 2007 for ticket touts, according to new figures.

Seatwave, a ticket exchange their website, revealed that the average price for a ticket to the concert was £7,425. The tickets were sold originally for £125 each and promoters aimed to make them non-transferable.

The next most expensive resale tickets of 2007 were for Barbara Streisand’s show at the O2 Arena, which sold for an average of £287, reports The Guardian.

The Eagles’ intimate show at London’s IndigO2 Arena sold for an average of £990. Tickets for Take That’s comeback show sold for an average of £124.
