Guitarist admits to butterflies as legends prepare to return
Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has admitted he is nervous ahead of the band reuniting for a one-off show in London next week (December 10).
The band reunite at the O2 Arena on Monday , and the guitarist admitted that in rehearsals ahead of the show he has felt a few butterflies.
“It was a bit nervy,” he told The Sun’s Something For The Weekend. “I really wanted it to work. I didn’t want to be the one who couldn’t do it. Jason (Bonham) came in and had such an infectious enthusiasm, it was just terrific.”
Page added that once the band agreed to play the show, preparations have been intence.
“We agreed that if we took it on it would have to be with a serious commitment,” he explained. “I think all of us knew it was going to be brilliant.”
