Led Zeppelin reunion: new Rolling Stones rumours emerge

Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts linked with reformation gig

The Rolling Stones‘ members Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts have denied that they will make a special guest appearance at Led Zeppelin‘s reunion show.

Led Zeppelin are set to reunite at the O2 Arena in London on December 10.

The bill will include Pete Townshend, Foreigner and Paolo Nutini with Bill Wyman and The Rhythm Kings.

It was originally suggested The Rolling Stones‘ frontman might be playing with Wyman, but this was denied early on.

However, new rumours have emerged this week that both Jagger and drummer Watts would be playing.

However, the band have released a new statement today (November 8), decarling there will be no link-up.

They explained: “Contrary to media speculation, Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts will not be participating in any way at the Led Zeppelin concert in December, but wish them well for a great gig.”
