The dance outfit seek out new talent for their forthcoming UK tour...

MERCURY MUSIC PRIZE-nominated dance outfit LEMON JELLY have announced details of their biggest ever UK tour – and are leaving a support slot open to one lucky person each night.

The Jelly Lab jaunt will be touring the UK throughout October. As well as the main attraction, seven-piece drum & bass act London Elektricity and DJ Tom Middleton (on selected dates) join the party. Pete Fowler, designer of Super Furry Animals‘ record sleeves, will paint a piece of art live each night, and fans are also promised ‘spectacular visuals’ and ‘mystery giveaways’.

Lemon Jelly are also leaving their support slot open to one lucky person for each night. If you make music on your laptop and are interested, you can enter by submitting an MP3 to [url=]

Those selected will then be placed online for the public to vote, with the favourite getting the London support slot on October 11, and the following six runners-up playing regional dates.

The shows are at:

Birmingham Academy (October 2)

Manchester Apollo (3)

Glasgow Academy (4)

Brighton Dome (6)

Norwich UEA (7)

Bristol Colston Hall (8)

London Brixton Academy (11)
