Lennon Gallagher becomes new face of Saint Laurent menswear

A new promo is soundtracked by The Velvet Underground

Liam Gallagher‘s son Lennon is the new face of Saint Laurent menswear.

The 18-year-old first appeared on Saint Laurent’s catwalk during their AW18 show in Paris.

Now, a black and white advert for the brand has been unveiled – which shows Lennon modelling a leopard print coat to the soundtrack of The Velvet Underground. The moody, rock ‘n’ roll-inspired visuals were shot by the Saint Laurent collaborator David Sims.

The promo clip comes a week ahead of the fashion label’s next menswear show – taking place on June 6. Check out the video below.

In September last year, Lennon Gallagher made waves with an appearance at London Fashion Week. He had previously made his catwalk debut in January 2017 – which Liam said made him feel ‘very proud’ of his son.

Making his ‘Rock ‘N Roll Star’ Dad not so proud, Lennon made headlines by sporting a Blur band t-shirt.

“Good-looking kid, takes after his dad,” Liam told NME in response. “Everyone makes fashion mistakes, and I’m sure that’s his first one.”

Lennon Gallagher was born to Oasis icon Liam and ex-wife Patsy Kensit in 1999. He is named after The Beatles’ John Lennon.

Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher recently posted a photo of himself with his estranged daughter Molly. Last year, he revealed that he had never met the 20-year-old.

Gallagher is currently working on the follow-up to his debut solo album ‘As You Were’.
