The rocker also gives a nod to Michael Jackson in Staffordshire
Performing at the Staffordshire site on the V Stage, the rocker came onstage at 4.35pm (BST) sporting a black leather jacket, shades and a black Flying V guitar.
A large crowd braved the afternoon showers, however, to catch a glimpse of the New York rocker and were treated to a set including 1991 single ‘Always On The Run’ and his cover of The Guess Who‘s ‘American Woman’.
Kravitz, kept his shades on until launching into huge hit ‘It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over’, a huge favourite with the crowd.
Then during next song, ‘Dancin’ Til Dawn’, Kravitz said: “You’re just having a good time today aren’t you? – so keep dancing. I bet you like me like those old records from the late 70s and early 80s.”
Kravitz concluded on his one UK chart-topper, 1999’s ‘Fly Away’ and then ‘Let Your Love Come Down’, which saw him coming down to the front of the crowd to shake hands with his fans.
