The court cast regarding the attack on Les Incompetents singer Billy Bell has begun today (September 25).
BBC 6 Music reports that Christian Briggs pleaded guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
Judge Peter Birts QC warned Briggs that he could he jailed for the attack.
The case has been adjourned until October 23 for medical reports and a statement from the victim on how he has been affected.
As previously reported on NME.COM, Bell was injured following an an argument in Camden, north London on June 22. The singer underwent a successful five-hour operation to decrease pressure on his brain, but he was unconscious for several weeks.
Bell is making a full recovery and recuperating.
The band recently announced on their Myspace site they would be splitting up to pursue solo projects.
