Lewis Hamilton has made his secret singing debut on Christina Aguilera’s new album ‘Liberation‘. Check it out below.
Some time ago, the Formula 1 driver declared that his passion to pursue music was ‘very serious’. Now, Hamilton has made his musical debut under his pseudonym of XNDA on the new Aguilera track ‘Pipe’.
As Aguilera chimes in with “I get loud when you put that pipe down,” Hamilton responds with “Trust me I know what to do with it.”
“I never thought I would have people following me,” said Hamilton of his musical aspirations in 2015. “You know, fans. I want to share it with them, I want to see what they think. My work ethic is exactly the same here as it is on the racetrack. But it’s just here I can be me.”
He continued: “Music has been a huge passion of mine since I was really young. I started playing guitar when I was 13. In here, I can be me, I can be vulnerable. I can show a side of me that people don’t get to see.”
“The plan was that it always started as a hobby but it’s got to a point now where it’s very serious … If I’m not training, getting ready for the race, I’m here.”
Reviewing Aguilera’s new album, NME concluded: “‘Liberation’ may lack the grand ambition and massive pop bangers of her glory days, but by the end, it’s hard to deny that she feels reasonably relevant and contemporary again.”
