LIAM GALLAGHER has recorded his first song without Oasis.
The track is a collaboration with Ocean Colour Scene‘s Steve Cradock and is a cover of The Jam song ‘Carnation’.
It will be released as a double A-sided single with Buffalo Tom‘s version of ‘Going Underground’ on October 11 through Ignition.
It will be the first single taken from the album of Jam cover versions, ‘Fire And Skill’. Out on November 1, it also features Noel Gallagher‘s version of ‘To Be Someone’ alongside recordings by Garbage, Beastie Boys and Reef.
Paul Weller himself has contributed a reworking of ‘No One In The World’ to the album, which features as the final hidden track.
