Liam Gallagher calls on Julia Davis and ‘This Country’ stars to host the BRIT Awards

Make it happen.

Liam Gallagher has called on Julia Davis and the stars of This Country to host the BRIT Awards in 2020.

The prestigious ceremony took place once more on Wednesday (February 20) – and saw host Jack Whitehall delivering a razor-sharp turn that took aim at the great and good of the music world.

And while Whitehall could be a potential shoo-in for a third turn next year, the Oasis icon believes that Nighty Night star Davis is the perfect choice for 2020.

“You want Brit awards vibes nxt year get Julie Davis [sic] to host it ya shit bags she actually a woman as you were ya beige cunts,” wrote Liam on Twitter.

But if Julia’s availability doesn’t work out, Liam also offered an alternative in the form of This Country‘s Charlie and Daisy-May Cooper.

“And those 2 posh fockers from this country,” he added.

While Liam wasn’t present at this year’s BRIT Awards, he could well be there for his dream ceremony in 2020, as he has been in the studio working on the follow-up to ‘As You Were’ which is due to arrive later in 2019.

Earlier this week, Liam also claimed that his brother Noel ‘will sue him’ if Oasis footage is included in a new documentary about his career.

Liam’s ‘As It Was’ arrives later this year, which documents his years with post-Oasis band Beady Eye and his solo career.

He now claims that Noel’s management firm Ignition has threatened legal action if the film includes archive footage of his formative days in the legendary Britpop band.

A representative for Noel declined to comment when contacted by NME about Liam’s latest comments.
