The team beat Sweden 2-0 yesterday (July 7) and are now through to the semi-finals of the competition. They will face Croatia in the penultimate round on Wednesday evening (July 11).
During a performance ahead of yesterday’s game, Noel Gallagher was booed by his unimpressed crowd for daring to suggest that it’s not coming home. “Seriously though, it fucking so isn’t,” he said as those in attendance began chanting ‘Three Lions’.
“It fucking is not,” he added. “It is not. You fucking know it and I know it.”
Now, Noel’s younger brother Liam has criticised the High Flying Birds man for not getting behind the lads. “Very sad when you can’t support your country coz your Mrs won’t let ya,” he tweeted following England’s win. “hashtag soft lad hashtag under the thumb ITS COMING HOME as you were LG x”.

Despite their ongoing feud, Liam recently gave a sentimental response to a fan’s question of who is the best Gallagher brother. “There is no such thing as ‘better’,” he replied. “We are brothers. When we’re together no fucker, and I mean no fucker, comes close. OASIS FOR LIFE.”
Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher recently announced an intimate gig in Manchester. He’ll perform at The Ritz in his hometown on July 18. Tickets for the current High Flying Birds’ UK tour are available here.
