Liam Gallagher reveals how listening to John Lennon helps him battle his demons

"I do not need therapy. John Lennon is my thing"

Liam Gallagher has revealed how listening to John Lennon proves the perfect medicine in battling his demons.

The former Oasis star, 45, has been locked in an ongoing feud with brother Noel since Oasis split up in 2009.

But if he’s ever battling “dark clouds”, it’s simply a case of sticking the Beatles icon on the stereo.

“I have got John Lennon. Anytime I am in need, man, I just stick him on, all those dark clouds disappear. I do not need therapy. John Lennon is my thing”, Liam told Metro newspaper.

And he’s got a pretty simple method of battling depression too – he simply has to look in the mirror.

“‘F*** that. Have you seen how I look? I am looking great”, he admitted.

“The minute I slip into depression I just have a quick look in the mirror.”

Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that Liam plans on buying his favourite greasy spoon cafe.

After a cracking secret set at Latitude, members of Gallagher’s crew told the Daily Star that the singer has recently become interested in a local café: “He is always going on about this particular cafe near where he used to live which he would love to one day take over.”

“He’s got fond memories of eating there in the early days and reckons you would have to travel a long way to sample anything as good”, the source mentioned.

The greasy spoon in question is reportedly the Koffee Pot in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
