Liam Gallagher speaks on his future relationship with estranged daughter Molly

"It's early days"

Liam Gallagher has responded to his relationship with estranged daughter Molly Moorish after meeting her for the first time and taking a photo last week (March 23).

Molly’s mother is Gallagher’s former partner Lisa Moorish. Last year, he revealed that he had never met her.

The singer singer had previously said: “I just think she’s best off with her mum. I think we leave it be.”

Liam posted a photo last week with Molly Moorish along with his two sons Gene and Lennon Gallagher. Speaking to the BBC backstage at one of the Rolling Stones’ London shows, Gallagher spoke about his relationship with Molly now he’s met her.

“Molly was there [for the] first time, I met her before. It was nice to have them all there. She’s a top girl and she’s all good.”

He continued: “We’re getting on good, it’s early days and they’re getting on great, the kids and that.”

Gallagher seemed optimistic about his continued presence in Moorish’s life as a father, he said: “I hope so, I hope she doesn’t get sick of me, you know what I mean”.

Last year, when Liam Gallagher called out his brother Noel for failing to perform at the One Love Manchester concert, Lisa Morrish replied in a now deleted tweet: “Maybe he’s busy looking after his kids and the daughter you’ve never even met! AS YOU WERE x LM.”

Moorish then shared a photo of Noel with Molly on Instagram, using the hashtag ‘Family First’.
