'Stay Young' hasn't been performed live in 22 years
The rock legend, who released his debut album ‘As You Were’ in 2017, said that he will perform songs including ‘She’s Electric’ and ‘Stay Young’ at his forthcoming live solo sets.
Gallagher responded to his fans on Twitter who had requested him to add more of his former band’s songs to his solo setlist. He promised to play ‘Stay Young’, the B-side to ‘D’You Know What I Mean?’ from 1997’s ‘Be Here Now‘, which hasn’t been performed live in 22 years.
When one fan asked for the song, Liam replied: “It’s happening eh how do you know these things you got me bugged.”
He also said “Why not” in response to a request for ‘She’s Electric’, which features on Oasis’ 1995 record ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’
‘She’s Electric’ was last played in 2002 on Oasis ‘Heathen Chemistry Tour’.
Meanwhile, the ‘Wall of Glass’ singer, who’s currently working on his second solo album, has claimed that his brother Noel ‘will sue him’ if Oasis footage is included in a new documentary about Liam’s career.
He now claims that Noel’s management firm Ignition has threatened legal action if the film includes archive footage of his formative days in the legendary Britpop band.

“I’ve just been informed that I’ll be sued by the not so mighty little fella and his goons at ignition if I use any footage of me singing oasis yes oasis songs in AS IT WAS,” Liam said on Twitter.
A representative for Noel declined to comment when contacted by NME about Liam’s latest comments.
