One man is seriously ill in hospital in NEW YORK following a gun battle outside a party at which rap stars LIL’ KIM and CAPONE-N-NOREAGA were in attendance.

According to a report in today’s New York Daily News (February 26), an altercation at approximately 3.15pm yesterday afternoon (February 25) involving six men outside the Hudson Street Building in Greenwich Village led to 22 shots being fired.

The report quotes a police source who believed that two groups, possibly connected with Kim and duo Capone-N-Noreaga, may have been involved in an earlier clash. The party was designed as a rap music celebration by the local radio station Hot97, WQHT.

Speaking about the alleged incident, the police source said: “These two groups passed in the day, and whatever broke out, there were at least 22 rounds fired.”

The gunshots are said to have broken a car window, and left one man, 31-year-old Efrain Ocasio, in serious condition in hospital after being shot in the back.

Both Kim and Capone-N-Noreaga were not at the scene of the incident and no arrests have yet been made.
