Limp Bizkit to release new single ‘Endless Slaughter’ on cassette

The track comes from the band's forthcoming seventh album 'Stampede Of The Disco Elephants'

Limp Bizkit will release their new single ‘Endless Slaughter’ on cassette only.

The song is the first to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘Stampede Of The Disco Elephants’, which follows the group’s sixth LP, 2011’s ‘Gold Cobra’. The album will be released later this year and is the band’s first release since DJ Lethal’s left the band in 2012. No official release date has been revealed as of yet.

The band took to Facebook to announce the release, explaining that the tape will only be available at their gigs. “These lovely collectibles will be sold only at our concerts. I’d suggest finding one of your oldest of old school friends to supply the cassette deck-equipped boom box for your analogue listening pleasure.”

Limp Bizkit play Maubeuge in France on June 6 and then tour Europe, playing both headline and festival sets. Their UK gig takes place as part of Sonisphere festival (July 4-6). They are joined on the bill by the likes of Iron Maiden, Metallica and The Prodigy.

Meanwhile, the band’s singer Fred Durst has directed a commercial for dating service eHarmony. A post on eHarmony’s Twitter account included a photo of Durst with the company’s CEO Dr Neil Clark Warren onset of the shoot accompanied by the text: “Our CEO Dr Neil Clark Warren is on set today filming new commercials w/ Director @freddurst ! #behindthescenes #epic.” You can see the post below.
