A paramedic is suing LIMP BIZKIT claiming he has been unable work and his life is in tatters following injury sustained working at the band’s show in Detroit last year.

Christopher Dickinson has filed a lawsuit in Oakland County Circuit court – scene of many of Eminem‘s recent legal appearances – claiming he was kicked unconscious by marauding Bizkit fans during a show in the city’s Palace venue on October 29.

Dickinson was knocked over and out while picking his way through the crowd to treat an injured fan. He says he heard Bizkit frontman Fred Durst encourage fans to storm the stage saying: “Security – do not stop them!”.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the 33-year-old father of two is suing the band, its promoters and the Palace’s owners. The suit says Dickinson has suffered brain damage and personality changes leaving him unable to work.

He also says the injuries have affected his marriage. His wife, he claims, has had to give up her job to care for him full-time.

“I’ve lost my whole life in the last ten months. I used to go fishing, hunting, spend hours on the lawn,” Dickinson said. “Now, after half an hour I have to lie down.”

Limp Bizkit could not be reached for comment at press time.
