The short-term future of the LIMP BIZKIT fronted ANGER MANAGEMENT US tour has been plunged into doubt with the news that frontman FRED DURST has travelled to SAN FRANCISCO to see a specialist over his throat problem.
The band pulled their show at the General Motors Palace in Vancouver, Canada last night (November 15) because of the recurring problem. It was the third tour date cancellation in three weeks after shows were missed in Albany NY (October 25) and Indianapolis (November 3).
A spokesperson for Limp Bizkit confirmed to NME.COM this morning (November 16) that the singer would see a throat specialist today, and only then would any decision be made on whether or not Friday’s show in San Francisco would go ahead.
The current leg of the tour, with Eminem, Xzibit and Papa Roach in support, is due to close in Anaheim, California on Tuesday (November 28). DMX and Godsmack (with occasional appearances from Sinisstar) are set to join for the remaining 12 dates, kicking off in the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles on Friday November 21.
However, at present it remains unclear how many, if any, of these dates will go ahead.
