LINKIN PARK‘s new album ‘METEORA’ has topped the US BILLBOARD album chart for the second successive week – with White Stripes’ ‘ELEPHANT’ going in at Six.

Linkin Park sold another 264,000 of their second studio LP, which takes sales over a million after just two weeks on the chart. It stayed ahead of another million seller, 50 Cent’s ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin”, which hangs in at Number Two having sold another 175,000 copies.

[a][/a], whose previous LP ‘White Blood Cells’ has shifted around 650,000 copies in the US since its release in July 2001, sold 126,000 copies of fourth album ‘Elephant’, currently top of the UK charts. The record entered just ahead of ‘The Very Best Of Cher’.
