Greatest hits album ‘The Definitive Collection’ by Lionel Richie & The Commodores was originally released in 2003 and reached the top spot in July.

The legendary singer drew the biggest crowd of last year’s festival during his Sunday afternoon Pyramid Stage performance.

Richie performed in the crowd-pleasing ‘Legends’ slot reserved for veteran artists, occupied in previous years by Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Paul Simon and Shirley Bassey.

Lionel Richie spoke to NME following his Glastonbury set, describing it as “a perfect show”.
