Jimmy Fallon sings ‘Hello’ with Lionel Richie’s head in spoof video – watch

Richie made guest appearance on 'The Tonight Show'

Lionel Richie helped Jimmy Fallon recreate his 1984 ‘Hello’ video last night on The Tonight Show (September 18).

Fallon recreated the video in The Tonight Show studio and played the blind girl who sculpts a clay version of Richie’s head in the original. Richie played the clay model in the amusing video, which can be seen below.

Lionel Richie reached Number One in the Official UK Albums Chart in June following a successful Glastonbury performance.

His greatest hits album ‘The Definitive Collection’ was released in 2003 and previously reached Number 10 on the Official Chart upon its release.

Richie’s Sunday afternoon set at the festival, which saw him performing songs including ‘Dancing On The Ceiling’ and ‘All Night Long (All Night)’, was among the best attended of the Glastonbury weekend and was also broadcast live by the BBC.

“I was overwhelmed performing at Glastonbury in front of all those people and for the fans to make the album Number 1 is ‎unbelievable,” Richie told OfficialCharts.com at the time.
