Listen to Anohni cover The Cranberries’ ‘No Need To Argue’

The musician has paid tribute to Dolores O'Riordan, who died last week

Anohni has shared a cover of The Cranberries‘ ‘No Need To Argue’.

The band released the single in 1994, with the track being taken from the album of the same name.

Anohni’s cover comes one week after the death of Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan. The musician included O’Riordan’s name in the hashtags in the post’s caption. She is the latest star to pay tribute to the late singer. Listen to her cover below.

O’Riordan was laid to rest today (January 23) in her hometown of Ballybricken, County Limerick. Canon Liam McNamara led the service at St Ailbe’s Church, while several symbolic items from the singer’s life, including a guitar and a platinum disc, were brought to the altar.

“It is our sincere prayer that our beloved Dolores is now re-united with her father, Terry, her baby brother, Gerard, grandparents, relatives and friends, in the presence of the Lord and Our Lady of Dolours in the heavenly kingdom, where there is no more pain or suffering or separations, but only joy and peace for all eternity,” McNamara reportedly said.

O’Riordan’s body was discovered in a London hotel room last week. The Metropolitan police have confirmed that her death is not being treated as suspicious. She will be buried beside her late father, Terence, in Caherelly cemetery.
