Kylie's gone country...
Kylie Minogue has returned with ‘Dancing’, the first song to be taken from forthcoming album ‘Golden’.
The track is the first release from the Australian pop icon since 2015’s ‘Kylie Christmas’ and sees her opting for an unlikely foray into country music, before the track explodes into a huge pop chorus.
Along with the new track, Kylie has also released the artwork for ‘Golden’, which sees the country theme being extended once more as she sits wistfully on a coach with a bejewelled guitar positioned in the background.

She also teased the release of the track in an Instagram clip earlier this week, which saw explaining how her “heart and soul” had been put into the record.
“I promised my fans that I would be putting my heart and soul into this record and I stayed true to my word. I was able to do that, which was challenging, and fun, and rewarding”, Kylie said of the album in a recent Instagram clip.
“It’s ended up with a different direction for sure, but essentially I’d still say it’s very much a Kylie record.”
‘Golden’ will be released on April 6 2018, and is the first record to be release since she signed a deal with BMG last year.
“We want to make a great, big, classic Kylie pop record. Thirty years she’s been in the business, and she’s better than ever before”, label president Alexi Cory-Smith said at the time.
“There’s so many different opportunities and with our reach into multi-media the possibility of making a documentary or book with her – it’s all possible. She’s just the ultimate artist.”
