Guns N’ Roses have shared a demo version of ‘November Rain’ that was recorded in 1986.
The band are set to reissue their debut album ‘Appetite For Destruction‘ tomorrow (June 29). The record was originally released in 1987.
The early version of the classic track features just vocals and piano. It was recorded at Sound City studios in Los Angeles. ‘November Rain’ wouldn’t be released until 1991, when it featured on ‘Use Your Illusion I‘. Listen to the demo below.
The ‘Appetite For Destruction’ reissue was announced earlier this year. Available in a range of formats, including five discs, seven LPs and seven 7-inches, the new release is 73 tracks long, with 49 of them previously unreleased songs.
The extra super deluxe reissue also includes a 96-page hand-bound book of unreleased photographs from frontman Axl Rose’s archives, 12 illustration lithos relating to tracks on the record, and replica memorabilia.
Meanwhile, the band are currently on tour and joined up with Foo Fighters at Florence’s Firenze Rocks festival earlier this month for an epic performance. Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan joined Dave Grohl‘s band as they headlined the event to play GN’R’s ‘It’s So Easy’.
Guns N’ Roses played their only UK date of the year so far earlier this month as they headlined Download Festival.
