Vile’s last single release, ‘Timing Is Everything (And I’m Falling Behind)’ was shared earlier this year (January 25) and followed swiftly on from the release of his eighth studio album last year.

‘Bottle It In’ featured guest contributions from the likes of Kim Gordon, Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa and Cass McCombs and was described as “his most sonically varied album”in a four star NME review.

Vile will be playing a number of UK and European festivals this year including All Points East, Primavera and Glastonbury.

Meanwhile, last December, Vile’s ‘One Trick Ponies’ was named among the tracks on Barack Obama’s annual list of his favourite songs of the past year.
