James Blake has shared a new track, ‘Mile High’, ahead of his album dropping tomorrow (January 18).
The track, which features Travis Scott, with additional production by Metro Boomin, is taken from his new album ‘Assume Form’. Stream it below.
‘Assume Form’ follows Blake’s 2016 record ‘The Colour in Anything’. André 3000, Rosalía, and Moses Sumne make guest appearances on the musician’s fourth album.
Some of the lyrics on the new track read: “We just be mile high clubbing/ I’m on a thousand mile running” and “Fell in love oversea, fell in love like it’s easy.”
Blake has released two standalone solo singles since his last studio album: a cover of Don McLean’s 1970s hit ‘Vincent’ and ‘If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead’. He also released a Mount Kimbie collaboration ‘Don’t Miss It’, which features on ‘Assume Form’.
Blake plays three UK dates this April, which take place after a North American tour. Check out the UK dates in full below and buy tickets here from 9AM tomorrow (January 18).
