London Grammar cancel Australian tour dates

The band have pulled out of the Splendour In The Grass festival

London Grammar have cancelled their upcoming Australian tour dates.

The British trio have pulled their trip, with dates in Sydney and Melbourne now rescheduled to March 12 and 14, 2015. The band will now not be appearing at Splendour In The Grass festival which takes place this weekend (July 25-27) near Byron Bay.

The band broke the news to fans on their Facebook page, writing: “It’s with great sadness that we must announce the cancellation of our trip to Australia and Splendour In The Grass this week due to illness. This is an incredibly sad situation for us as our last visit was one of the most memorable of our careers, but we do not feel that we can currently deliver the level of performance that you all deserve from us. Our fans in Australia have been hugely supportive of our music since the very beginning, and it pains us to have to disappoint any of you.”
