Lorde reveals new single ‘Team’ ahead of debut album release – listen

The New Zealand teenager will play her first UK gig next week (September 18)

Lorde has revealed ‘Team’, the latest track from her forthcoming debut album ‘Pure Heroine’, which is due for release on October 28.

The song can be heard above and is described by the singer as being, “a little more mismatched, less classic courtesans on their pedestals, but nonetheless brilliant. This song is kinda of that world, and at the same time, very much of this one.”

The New Zealand singer will follow up the release of her ‘The Love Club’ EP with ‘Pure Heroine’ and has also announced a one-off London date in September. The album features the singles ‘Tennis Court’ and ‘Royals’, as well as ‘Team’ and eight brand new tracks.
