Band will play four dates in support of new album 'No Blues'
Los Campesinos! have announced details of four UK dates to take place in December.
The gigs take place in Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds and London and will be in support of the band’s new album ‘No Blues’, which is set for release on October 29. The LP, which will be the follow-up to their 2011 effort ‘Hello Sadness’, was recorded at Bryn Derwen studios in Bangor, North Wales and is the group’s first record since the departure of former bassist Ellen Campesinos.
Starting in Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach on December 5, Los Campesinos! will play Cockpit in Leeds and Gorilla in Manchester before ending the short jaunt at London venue Heaven on December 9. See below for full dates and ticket details.
In May of this year, Los Campesinos! released their first live album ‘A Good Night For A Fist Fight’. The LP was a recording of the band’s show at the Islington Assembly Hall in London, on December 15, and was their the performance was the first to feature Aleks Campesinos following a gap of three years when she left the band to continue her studies. It also marked their final show with Ellen Campesinos, who left the band later that month.
