Those not lucky enough to get into last night's NME Carling Show manage to see their heroes...

Hundreds of Lostprophets fans unable to get tickets for the NME CARLING TOUR mobbed a live instore appearance in LONDON yesterday (February 10).

The group were due to play the final night of the NME Carling Awards Tour at the London Astoria last night.

The show sold out weeks ago, so 800 fans took the opportunity see the group for free at a brief appearance at the Oxford Street Virgin Megastore, just around the corner from the Astoria venue.

Three hours before their appearance, 500 fans had amassed around the basement stage, leaving another 300 perched upstairs to hear the group play a short three-song set. Following their set, the band met their fans and signed copies of their new album.

The NME Carling Shows continue this evening (February 11), with a headline show by Charlatans.
